Moab Wins

Moab wins.

Moab always wins.

When you pit a 55 pound dog against a 25 pound child the odds are usually stacked against the child. Levi learned this lesson at an early age. The poor kid has been trampled and tackled by our oaf of a dog more times than I can count on my right hand. All in all Moab is a great dog, but he's got a laundry list of strikes against him. Almost all of them involve chewing. He's been know to eat an entire frozen pizza, a wallet (money and all), our carpet, my bike helmet, a digital camera, a pair of sunglasses, my left Chaco sandal, a Jimmy John's #16, socks, towels, blankets, and even his own bed! The list goes on. The point is Moab will eat anything, especially if we're not looking and that happens a lot around our house. Oddly enough Moab has never more than sniffed anything that belongs to Levi. He learned not to touch Levi's things long before Levi was born. Food is a different story. That's an up hill battle. Moab has grown up eating any scrap that falls on the floor. Afterall, it's his domain and that's always been just fine with me. There's less mopping to do that way. Levi, however, hasn't quite grasped this concept. He's always dropping food on the floor. Then he screams and yells and throws a complete fit when Moab eats what he dropped. For example, tonight I gave Levi three crackers. He dropped the first one. Moab ate it. He put the second one in his mouth and offered the third one to Moab. Moab ate it. I don't know what he was expecting, but he threw a fit when Moab ate the cracker that he offered to him. The second cracker was still in Levi's mouth and he threw such a fit that it fell out. Moab ate that one too.

Moab wins.

Moab always wins.
