Levi went to the doctor yesterday for his nine month check up. Jason got to take him, which makes me both happy and sad. Happy because I didn't have to be the bad guy. Yeah! Sad because, well, I couldn't be there! Fortunately, Levi only had to get his finger pricked and he was more curious about what was to come than hurt that he got poked. No tears involved, just a cool band-aid for the road. He tipped the scales at 17lbs 8oz (20%) and topped the growth charts at 27.5 inches (25%). Levi's on track to be a giant!
At 9 months Levi can crawl, pull up, and take a few wobbly cruiser steps. He delights in his realization that he can impact objects. He learned to throw his toys on the ground, into the bath tub, and at Moab. He can wave goodbye, point, eat a whole jar of baby food, drink out of a water bottle but not a sippy cup, sleep through the night, and so much more!
