Jason and I got to ride our bikes together today for the first time since July! We've taken a few solo rides between then and now but nothing together and definitely not as a family of three yet! If you've been following this you'll remember that I got to 1000 miles in the 5 months before Levi was born. I looked at the odometer on that same bike today and it was at 1200. What have I been doing these last 6 months?! Oh right, changing diapers and losing sleep... Needless to say we were so excited to get out together today and take Levi with us. We can't think of a better way to spend time as a family than outside on a bike!
We opted to take the scenic route around Roann. Here are some highlights of our 15 mile jaunt.

Levi's Chariot. Really, that's what it's called. Sadly the weight limit is 100 lbs. If I lost a little weight Jason could haul me around in that thing. (Of course then we would need a baby sitter and that would defeat the entire purpose of buying the Chariot!)

We didn't even phase the cattle though. They lined up to get their picture taken. Dumb cows. Jason really just wanted this picture to send back to the Adventure guys in Colorado. He may have lost the mountains but he's still sporting the orange and black of Adventure Cycling. Besides, what's not to love about a few head of cattle gracing the backdrop of your cycling pictures?!

Jason wore the the Adventure Cycling jersey to scare the deer, hang with the cows, and ride to Roann! Go Levi in experiencing the great outdoors! We are honored that Jason carries on his legacy at Adventure Cycling by wearing its classic 1st edition jersey. We missed Jason more intensely starting on Friday March 12 when a rush of customers came in throughout the day and there were only Dennis and Damian. We dream of the Cordes Family return (keep on dreamin'). In the meantime, nice job in keeping those best legs sculpted! We know that change is good so we'll hang on to those great memories.
