Here are a few (okay, more than a few) pictures from our trip to Michigan. I love Michigan and I love Levi, but our triangle love affair is running dry. Levi's been to Michigan twice. Both trips commenced with Levi puking all over me. Enjoy these pictures because we may never go to Michigan again!

We waited too long to book our campsite so we ended up with a walk-in site. If you're ever camping at Sleeping Bear Dunes Natl. Lakeshore we highly recommend site B-7. It ranks among other favorites such as Buffalo Creek and W. Magnolia Road in Colorado.
Even Levi enjoyed the quarter mile hike!
A trip to Sleeping Bear wouldn't be complete without a hike up the dunes. Levi, however, could not have cared less about hiking. He was perfectly content playing in the first 6 feet of sand he found. Forget that there were 1.5 miles of sand behind him!
We finally convinced him that the view from the top was worth the hike.
What goes up must come down!
After the Dune Climb we took a scenic bike ride around the park. It was the hardest 10 miles I've ridden in a long time. I don't know if was the heat, the 1.5 mile sand hike, or the fact that Levi was jumping on me and shouting "Momma!" at 5 a.m. Regardless the hilly ride made for two exhausted parents, but the views were nice.
I rode my bike at an exhilarating 40 mph.
After all the biking and hiking we ate pizza on the patio of a restaurant in downtown Traverse City. Yum!
The next day we headed a little farther north to Petoskey where we rode M-119. There were a few trees along the way. A very pretty ride for sure.
